Oooooh. That looks like a big one. Of course, you are more likely to have this result when YOU, fish, 3PO.

Hi again Kain,
Long time no see. Well, if 3PO cannot find a place for you in his current adventure, I'm sure we can work out something even if it ends up beginning as a solo adventure. My favorite solo adventurer ended up having six player horn in on my solo fun before the finale.
Talk to you soon. We are not the stony dry ground over which the wind blows and the river runs. We are part of the energy that gives the wind motion and that drives the river to to the sea. Robert Fulghum alibrand1[AT]verizon.net |

Hey 3PO,
Didn't we come over to this board to get away from the ads?
As homer would say,
Look. Even your favorite banana seems to be picketing. but I cannot read what is
on his sign. Can you?

Oh, sorry. How stupid of me. I can be such a knucklehead
sometimes.
So let's start in Greyhawk. Do you recall Tyro of the Kendall Expeditionary Guild (KEG) also known as the Greyhawk Adventurers Guild (GAG)? How about the timid Father Phil Underhill? Or Jeremy Outrider who also roamed that fair city? I had one or two other PCs but these guys actually leveled more than once. I cannot remember all of the adventures I spotted Kain in, but I do remember him as a staple of CORE and GH from very near those earliest days when there were MANY more PCs and GMs roaming about this board. Hope that helps clear things up. Or did I just confuse the matter even further?

lo, of course I remember. Good to see you are still around. yes, Kain has been around since 2001, just months after CORE started, I believe. Every time that
RL starts bogging me down and I think that I need to lay off, Kain always drags me back.

Hey guys I'm back. Sorry extended my vacation for a week. The fishing was great though. Caught alot of nice Bass and trout.
A tall well built Half-Elf with dark skin as if tanned, long white hair, and purple eyes. You see two finally crafted scimitars at his sides.

Oh, so you weren't just floundering around, then?
At times like these I wish there were ways to attached wav files. A nice groan would have gone great right after this silly one.

Kain, like you I had a long absence from CORE.
It looks like 3PO is trying to get you into his adventure. Let me know if you need anything in the mean time. I can help you with your shopping if it speed things along. Into my adventure, R2? Not quite... | ||

Kain - I am waiting to see if the group's current ranger (Rhean) is still with the adventures. He has been busy and hasn't posted for a couple of
weeks, but i usually give a player as much time as they need to play.. If Rhean is unable to continue, I might have an opening.
So for now, I can have you out and about the city hunting down some drow....if that would interest you? |

killing drow is always fun. I am good with whatever, I am just thankful that you two are still around and are willing to have a vagabond like me.
I would ask though that if you have any sway with Goldie, that he post my XP before I start off on something new. |

Rhean, it wasn't a question of quality booze.. I was drinking an Absinthe called 'Le Tourment Vert'.. or 'The Green Torment' in english.
lol.. good stuff but with it's high alcohol volume, it was the bottle and a half I put away that did me in.. lol.. 100 proof.. man oh man...
Thrudd is a very large specimen of his race, brownish-green skin and black hair that hangs in braids. His manner is slow but his reflexes are not as slow as his mind. He carries a very large sword for cutting things. |

I have been a bit side-tracked in RL and will be for the next few weeks. This means my posting rate will be down, probably no more than once a week.
To AGM R2: There are 4 current PC's in the TDB adventure with 2 more set to jump (literally) into the fray. So, that put's us back up to speed party-wise. So, Kain is just an option if a slot becomes available. That is why I have planned to have Kain running around after drow in the city.... To Thrudd: Glad you are still with us! To Pale: You can go ahead and add the Bone Hill XP to your CS that we previously discussed and post a copy of the completed CS into the thread for the adventure's CS's. Any experience you and Shazar have earned from the current mini- intro-adventure will be posted when all of the players have placed their CS in the adventure thread. If you reach 6th level at that time, you can go ahead with your planned MoMF class. i hope this is OK with you. if not, let me know. To Shazar: Thanks for the heads up. See you in a week. If it will be longer, I hope you can let me know. |

GM 3PO wrote:To 3PO - Drow? How boring. Where's the eight headed Hydra? Where's the "weak" vampire?
No, if you want to make it interesting, make that Drow a Cleric/Magic User who became a Demi-Lich with a Project Image spell prepared and a pouch of Dust of Disappearance handy, then you might have the makings of an exciting adventure. Or at least a repetitive one. It's the dwarf that
ties the whole thing up with a nice bow.
Hmm... Why does that all sound soooooo familiar. { strokes beard }

Hydra?
Try a Kobold bard Demi-lich with a trio of pet Vargoyles
trailing pretty and festive ribbons behind them as they fly. Followed by an Awakened armadillo that accidently swollowed somebodies phylactery and is
trying to pass it while running away before someone slits his belly open...
Later it becomes a race between the party, the vargoyles, and a passing band of drow all desperately poking through every pile of fresh poop in the dungeon looking for the lost phylactery...
Pale (pronounced Pah'ley) Dragon: Cheerful gnome in fine diagonal-woven leather armor has three
owl feathers dangling from his hair. He shoulders a spear but you think his real weapons of choice are both the leather-barded
Dog and and the Gorilla in studded leather armor that flank him.
