Speaking of lost manhood...

I had a GM that demagiced half the party's items then changed the gender of 5/6ths of the party. The only PC that did not change gender was the female paladin. All of this happened in the first hour of a four hour Friday night gaming session.

An hour later the group took it's regular "pizza break" and when when the players returned, we all just started gathering up our dice and stuff. The GM asked what were were doing, we just looked at one another.

"Well," one of my buddies said, "I can tell you what were NOT doing. We're NOT letting you GM any more. Tonight or ever."

My old D&D buddies will still bring that session up ever now and again when we get together. It was one of only two gaming nights that we ever declaired, "That session did not just happen."

That night was the purest lesson I ever learned on how NOT to GM.
