I would agree that if it were somehow able to be kept seperate, then it would be fair enough to allow this sort of thing. I also think the best way to do this would be the seperate forum Skye mentioned. Obviously the RCS and misc forums could be used the same, but otherwise all higher level characters could be held to their own forum.

Only moderators that want to run higher level characters are even going to make advertisements/adventures for them, and so would set the starting level of character they are looking for. I would suggest that a minimum of lvl 10 be set.

Alternatively, perhaps a title change as was suggested with concurrenting characters. Instead of 'concurrent adventurer', we could have 'High powered campaigner', or something a touch less retarded sounding ;)

Another issue that arises is that at some point, a higher level character that started out from the beginning might actually want to cross over into the forum with those higher leveled starts. Indeed, once you cross over sixth level on CORE at the moment, it becomes harder to find an adventure to play in due to lack of companions! Well, perhaps this isn't so much an issue as a feature... heh.

Also, so that even those starting at higher levels can have an even playing feild (at least in relation to each other), they would all need to be created equally. 80pt stats, max HP at 1st lvl, and equipment worthy of the character's level per the DMG on building higher level characters.

I feel much as Skye does in earning my levels, but I still might take the opportunity to play a higher level character. Being able to see what one of my current characters looked like at a much higher level would be interesting, and to a large extent they would have the same personality....
