Duras, silent till now approaches Anavren and looks at the metal. "I don't know how the metal will help, but if the priests of Rao say that it will, then most certainly it will fit in somehow. We have not learned a few things here and there." Duras begins to move towards the mine once more and motions for the party to continue.

Duras continues to tell Anavren of the things that they have found and assumes that the man is following (if you aren't then I guess you don't hear). "We found a dwarf who was dying. He had a message which Kerry translated for us. It read "When nothing seems to fill the mine, move the cart into the shrine. In the shrine look around for the next tunnel can be found." The Dwarf had some wounds about him and a blue substance which we could not identify. I think it might have been a poison, but I don't know." Duras steps closer to the mine opening and says a silent prayer to Rao, then covers his head with his helm.

"Last night we talked with four old men. They said they had entered the mine a bit ago and when they came out they had aged. We asked questions of them about the mine to learn more, but they did not want to impart any more than what they had said and left in a hurry. I don't know why they would not tell us more, or accept our invitation for tea or supper. I thank Rao that we have learned what we have. I think that is the all of what we have learned, but I am not a scholar, and the others may remember more." Duras looks to the others as if asking if he forgot something, but doesn't ask them verbally.

Once inside the mine Duras holds up his arm, his hand in a fist indicating that everyone should stop. "Before we go in anyfurther we should maintain silence for as long as possible, or until we have to speak. If there are monsters guarding or objective, we don't want them to hear us. If anyone has anything to add or declare, I think it should be done now. I am ready to enter the mine, is everyone else."

Duras looks around. If no one answers Duras looks to the rangers and elves in the group. "Those that can read track and signs might want to go first and those that can see better in the dark should perhaps lead. Who will be carying torches?"

OOC: I'm still in the process of getting seattled. :)

Welcome back Anavren, I really didn't think you would be coming back. I hope that we can work as a team, but I have some serious doubts.
