Elscene spends the remainder of the night awake and contemplating what she's gotten herself into. When Accolon offers her a string for her new longbow, she smiles shyly at him.

'Thank you, for the offer, but what kind of bowyer would I be if I didn't have spare strings? I haven't gotten around to fitting a string to it yet.'

As she talks to him about archery and her craft (if he'll listen :o ) she strings the longbow with a new cord, and begins to work it. Pulling the bow taught and checking it's draft. Near dawn, she actually looses a few arrows into the ground (OOC: Stand and aim straight down) to test the jerk of the bow.

When the mist starts, she reaches into her kit and pulls out a block of wax, and begins to wax the string on her longbow, packing the shortbow into it's slot on the quiver. Seeing Accolon change his string, she offers him the wax, 'It's not as good as it being dry, but it keeps it from spoiling in the rain. Keep it if you want, I have a few in my kit.'

As the group breaks camp, Elscene will resume her position as an offrider, still working her bow's cord and pull.
