After satisfying himself that nothing lurks nearby, Horek returns to camp and listens to Kerry as she speaks the words inscribed on the parchment.

"It would seem these others have beaten us to the mine, but it also appears they were unsuccessful in their quest. Does anyone know what that stuff is that surrounds the dwarf's wound? It could be important for us to understand later on."

With those words, the barbarian will stand close by if anyone else moves to examine the dwarf's wound. Otherwise, Horek himself will try and make sense of it (little chance there! ;) ).

The plainsman will help Duras bury the dwarf with whatever tools might be at hand (a big stick or a shovel-shaped stone). After this he will rest for the duration of the night and be ready to travel on in the morning.

Horek Varshot
Deep bronze skin and the red body paint that decorates the face of this large man combine to mark him as one of true Flannish origin. The plainsman carries a sturdy longbow and a huge sword is strapped tightly to his back. Studded leather armor peeks out from beneath a cloak made from the hide of a large black bear and a necklace decorated with huge claws completes the picture of this fearsome barbarian. The scowl upon his face along with hard, piercing eyes warn you that disturbing this quiet man might be considered foolhardy unless there is good reason.
