OOC: Shadow, I've edited my posts to save you the trouble. I even deleted Anavren's comments to Elscene since Anavren wasn't going to bother to reply to her until after he watched Horek's reaction. After the manifestation of Rao, Anavren doesn't even bother to respond to Elscene. If I've missed anything, feel free to edit away, Shadow.

Second, I think we all need to keep in mind that the altercation took place BEFORE the inn, not on the morning of the second day when we were deciding how we should proceed in light of the discovery of the 2nd party.

Third, my character's name is spelled a-n-a-v-R-E-n. The ending is like the word wren, except there's a v instead of a w. AnaVERN. :lol Hey, Vern! It's me Ernest T.!

IP: Anavren is shocked at the manifestation of Rao. His pale elven skin turns a pasty white. Realization of the gravity of the occurence soaks his mind thoroughly. By the Great Archer! How unbelievable! We are truly graced! Anavren quickly closes his eyes and prays quickly to Solonor Thelandira. Great Archer, Rao himself has impressed upon us that we are on a mission of great danger. Be my guide, Keen Eye. I will need your help.

Anavren then listens to the barbarian's words as he says he'll follow the paladin. The barbarian walks around Duras' horse to speak to Anavren, and Anavren listens to the barbarian's words. Anavren shoulders his bow, then shakes Horek's extended hand firmly with both of Anavren's hands. "I accept your apology, Horek. And I apologize for my inciteful words. However, Rao has stated that if anyone leaves this spot with ill feelings, we will fail." Anavren seems to almost plead with the barbarian as he continues, "My interpretation of Rao's words means that if we want to succeed and survive in this quest, you may have to allow me to become your friend. I fear if you do not only forgive me, but forget the whole incident instead of harboring lingering ill will, you may precipitate all our deaths. I do not want that, Horek. I'm sure none of us do. Even if you don't agree with my interpretation of Rao's words, do you really want to take the risk that I am right?"

Anavrenthen turns to the paladin and says, "It is not my nature to follow anyone except the Forest Hunter. I refused to follow even Queen Yolande of Celene. However, Rao has ordained that you are to lead. For that reason, I will follow."

Anavren walks to Acea, "I not only forgive you, but I will forget that you pulled your sword on me. I hope you will fogive and forget my hurtful words."

Anavren walks to Elscene and says, "I forgive you for your words to me, and I have forgotten them." (OOP: I have edited my posts so that Anavren never bothered to reply to Elscene. Therefore I did not have Anavren ask for Elscene's forgiveness. I also don't currently remember exactly what it was that Elscene said to Anavren.)

Anavren then walks around to the Perrenlanders, "I forgive you Steven McCormick for spitting beer on me. I have forgotten that it has happened." Anavren then turns to Ian and says, "I forgive you for threatening me. I have forgotten that you have done so." Anavren then looks at the both of them as he continues. "I apologize for threatening you, even in jest. Please, realize that my threats were hollow and said in jest. I meant to state that your singing could endanger the whole party. I meant nothing more. I was less than tactful about stating my point. I hope you can forgive me and forget any ill will you may have toward me. Otherwise, I'm sure we'll be consigning ourselves to the grave."

Anavren then speaks up, addressing the whole party. "We all heard Rao. We cannot leave this spot harboring bad feelings toward one another. If anyone now feels upset, leave it behind, or you will consign your comrades to the Baator's fires."
Anavren is a tall high elf with typical black hair & green eyes. He stands 5' 5" tall & weighs about 135 lbs. Anavren is dressed in forest colors and leather armor. He is never without his composite shortbow and a sheaf of arrows!
