Listening to the barbarian Duras brows furrow. "Thank you, I will do my best to lead and ensure our mission is succesful with not a life lost." Duras spoke to them ... through me. How is that possible and why would he choose me a lowly paladin. I knew that he had choosen me to be his knight, but I ... Duras is at a loss for thought as he tried to imagine his own god Rao speaking through him. Looking to the skies Rao, I am but a humble knight of your order, but I swear on my life blood to uphold the ideal of reasoning and peace even unto my death. Feeling at peace he looks to the group to see what effect Rao had on them, for it was not by him that peace had come, but through him from Rao.

Duras listens to Anavren make appologies finding not fault in his words. It takes a brave man to admit fault when he doesn't beleive that he has any, it is unfortunate that the others still distrust him. I hope that they mend their feelings towards him before we reach the cave.

"Anaveren, I'm sure that Rao would be pleased with your efforts even if your words seem not to have the effect that we would wish." Urging his horse forward Duras moves to the front and looks to ensure everyone is ready before motioning onward. Looking to the rangers Duras keeps his eyes aleart hoping to forwarn his new companions of danger.

[Veluna City ]

As the large city of Veluna comes into view Duras breaths a word of thanks to Rao for the safe trip. Opening his visor he nods, "I am Duras of Rao and these are my loyal companions. We are on a mission from the Cannon of Mitrik that requires the highest urgency. We ask for your leave to enter your city for supplies and rest before we continue on with a mission blessed by Rao himself."
