Elscene pauses at the edge of the road, and turns back to Anavren.

'Since I believe there is something fundamentally deranged about antagonizing people you want to help you, I guess I disagree with you. But I can be sure that the weapons of my companions won't be directed at me at a dangerous time.' Elscene shrugs off the comment about "muddle-headed monkeys," but is not able to let his obvious disdain for the craft go by unchallenged.

'You take pride in your heritage, and you rant about our people's skill with a bow, and yet you mock the very craft that grants that skill? I should expect it from someone who tries to purchase the skill he doesn't have,' Elscene gestures disgustedly at Anavren's bow. 'Use your toy, and when it fails you, blame your companions. But know that until you can truly understand the tool you wield, Solonor will not bless your aim, will not help you strike down your enemies, will do nothing for you. You are obviously either very spoiled, or very stupid. I don't suppose it matters which, however.' Elscene turns her back on him and starts back off the trail, her bow held before her and her quiver unlocked (OOC: Open to get at the arrows).

OOC edit: I forgot that you dropped your bow, sorry about that. pulled those comments :0 The comment "does not have his weapons readied" implies to me that he doesn't have any readied, esp when i forgot you dropped the bow :) And you can have your bow with you unstrung on your back, fyi. it's with you, just phenomenolly (sp?) unusable :)

OOC add: BTW, Solonor Th-whatchama ... I'm presuming god from the references, but I couldn't find it in the PHB or the greyhawk gazeteer ... ? If not a god, replace comment about Solonor with "your god" :) edit: OK, I was scanning the books to make sure it was a god. I don't have a problem with it, even if it weren't in the PZ, I was just trying to make sure my references to "your god won't help you" weren't actually talking about the head of Celene's archers or something :)
