Horek frowns as they reach the dead-end and begins to search for any secret doors or concealed trapdoors. If nothing is found by himself or any of the others, he will lead the group back to the side passage then carefully proceed down the corridor, allowing Duras to lead if they are forced to walk in single-file order. If such is the case, he will draw his magical bow and nock an arrow to the string as the proceed, sheathing his greatsword for the moment.

OOC: Shadow, Horek plans to participate in the Tourney. (Woohoo! Though surely I won't win two out of two contests! *Crosses his fingers anyway*) Do I have your permission to simply post Horek's entrance there, assuming he has a safe journey? I detest concurrent timelines and despite what some players might think, I don't think ANY encounter with monsters upon the road can be judged 100% safe. A critical hit by a kobold's spear could kill any 1st level character. Anyway, if you'd rather moderate a travel thread I'll do it that way too, if such is your wish. I'll just have to hope for a safe journey...

Horek Varshot
Deep bronze skin and the red body paint that decorates the face of this large man combine to mark him as one of true Flannish origin. The plainsman carries a sturdy longbow and a huge sword is strapped tightly to his back. Studded leather armor peeks out from beneath a cloak made from the hide of a large black bear and a necklace decorated with huge claws completes the picture of this fearsome barbarian. The scowl upon his face along with hard, piercing eyes warn you that disturbing this quiet man might be considered foolhardy unless there is good reason.
