As the barbarian begins to walk away, he is brought up short as the elf continues to blather on. At first he thinks to ignore the words, but the wild beast within his heart begins to react...
I cant expect an unlettered, uncivilized animal like you to understand exactly what transpired. Your instinct to be hostile is understandable if unjustifiable. In base terms that you can understand, my threats werent real. They were made in jest to make a point. It would take too long to explain just what my point was, so I decline to explain."
His pulse begins to quicken and his muscles start to flex uncontrollably. If the elf doesn't shut his trap soon...
As for the ways of the warrior, animal, you may have a broader range of skills for now, but once I am inducted into the Order of the Bow Initiate, Keen-Eye willing that I live that long, even your melee skills will be utterly meaningless and outmatched by my ability with the bow. Im sure thats too frightening for you to get your limited mind around, but its true."
A feral growl, incredibly low and animalistic erupts from the snarling lips of the plainsman. He still fights valiantly to control his reaction, since the object of his Rage is an ally, temporary though the situation might be. He is not an orc or a giant, smashing through villages and killing innocents...
As for speaking, monkey, Ill speak and be silent when I choose. As a rabid foe of both tyrants and evil, I will expose both wherever I find them. No tyrant will force silence on me without a bitter fight. As for your opinions, why should a higher being, an elf like myself, care for the opinions of a lesser being? Your words mean nothing since they arent supported by intelligence.
The beast within roars a challenge and the barbarian flies toward Anavren in a Rage, though Horek is able to keep his hands from seeking a weapon of destruction.
OOC: Horek will Rage and then 'charge' Anavren for an unarmed attack (a head butt.)
Init: +4
HP: 13 (+2 during Rage for 15 total)
AC: 17 (-2 during Rage dropping him to 15)
Attack: Unarmed / +6 attack bonus / 1d3 +5 damage / x2 crit
Special: +2 to attack for 'charge' attack, -2 to AC for one round due to 'charge' attack
Rage effects give Horek a 21 STR, a 16 CON, +2 increase to hit points, -2 to AC and lasts for 6 rounds. After his rage he is 'winded' for the remainder of encounter.
---------------------------
Horek Varshot
Deep bronze skin and the red body paint that decorates the face of this large man combine to mark him as one of true Flannish origin. The plainsman carries a sturdy longbow and a huge sword is strapped tightly to his back. Studded leather armor peeks out from beneath a cloak made from the hide of a large black bear and a necklace decorated with huge claws completes the picture of this fearsome barbarian. The scowl upon his face along with hard, piercing eyes warn you that disturbing this quiet man might be considered foolhardy unless there is good reason.
