As the day wears on, Elscene walks with the group. Not really knowing anyone, she stays quiet and reserved, thinking about the 'adventure' and how much 'fun' it is.

As Steven continues to belt out his songs, she finds herself partially wishing she could return to her father's shop, but knowing that this is simply one of the 'perks' of an adventure, and she will just have to learn to deal with it if she wants to be an 'adventurer.'

When Anavren begins his diatribe against the singing cleric, she finds herself unsure of what is happening.

'But, we're on the main road. No one would try to attack us on the main road, would they? They'd wait until we were further away from Mitrik, or deep in the forest, wouldn't they?'

As the fight escalates, Elscene starts to wonder if being an 'adventurer' is really worth it ...

When Acea pulls out her rapier, Elscene steps away from the group, not wanting to get herself into the middle of the fight. She does find the tall man's singing to be somewhat annoying, but she doesn't feel it worth bloodshed. Likewise, she doesn't really think Anavren deserves to be killed for his opinions.

To herself she thinks 'He's looking for a fight. He wants someone to try and kill him. I think I'll keep a close eye on him, he seems like he might kill someone for fun ...'

Elscene continues to the inn, making sure she stays behind Anavren, and keeping him between her and the two men he's picking the fight with, so that if it does come to bloodshed, she isn't in the middle of it.

When they arrive at the inn, she asks for some food, and the bathhouse, to relax. 'It's probably the last time I'll get a chance before we finish, might as well take advantage of a nice warm bath while I can.'
