My Recent Posts
Checking over the map it looks like the main road to Veluna City offers the best travel south. From there the map indicates a smaller road heading straight south to the base of the Lortmil Mountains. The road then winds around in between the mountains and forest. A large red X marks the spot of the mine. You are guessing about 160 miles stand between you and the mine.
Travel the first day is very easy. You pass by many people making their way toward Mitrik. Many farms can be seen, humans as well as elves can be seen in the fields breaking ground for the spring plant. A light breeze follows you down the road and offers a little relief from the hot sun. Soon it is starting to get dusk and you come upon a small hamlet. A chill comes upon you and the hotness of the day quickly fades. You easily find the local inn. 'Branches Broken Keg' can be seen from the sign hanging before the doorway. A pull door offers entrance into the inn. Inside a few tables can be seen scattered about. A bulky man behind the bar whips down shot glasses as you enter. A large mounted moose head hangs over a crackling fireplace.
He who walks in the shade shall never be the same.
