OOC: OK, I think I've figured out the current situation. One creature and the evil cleric remain, HP have been adjusted in the PZ, and awaaay we go!

IC:

Roxy moves forward, attempting to strike the heretic, but her blow falls well wide as she steps over the corpses that litter the floor (DDR 5). Nestor quickly moves up on the other side, attempting to take the foul servant unawares, but cannot find his mark (DDR 12).

Wa, grown tired of the beasts attacking him, quickly moves to finish the third one, striking quickly with his Urgosh (DDR 18! Dmg 7) The creature, making a strange keening roar of pain, lashes out at Wa, tearing the warrior with it's battle axe (Dmg 6!)

Celaria moves to heal Wa, calling once more upon her divine powers, but the healing does not seem as effective as before (Heal 1).

The evil cleric steps back, reaching into a pocket. As he pulls his hand out, he begins to chant. Roxy and Nestor recognize it as some form of spell-prayer. Before either can see any break in his defense, the area is plunged into darkness.

OOC: OK. Now, things that people will have questions about. Wa -- Prot Evil gives you +2 Deflection bonus to AC. It rolled high enough to still hit you. The cleric used a 5' step and cast defensively. So that's what happened to the AoO's. The 5' step should step him out of melee, but just to be sure he did it defensively, and rolled well enough to succeed. The immediate area is now enshrouded in a "darkness" spell. No one can see, as far as you know. (Darkness trumps darkvision, too)
