"I think that we may have missed the scale of the map. According to the legend and the distances drawn, we are roughly 95 miles away from the river (as the crow flies of course). On the other hand, if we follow the road to the river, we are almost 200 miles away. I doubt we will be seeing the tower for at least a week.
"I suggest that we relax a little on the marching order requirements until we are about a days travel from the area of operation. Maybe we could take the road through the woodlands immediately surrounding Mitrik, and on the plains until we reach the foothills. Then we could skirt the hills to the north until we reach the river. From there, we could adopt our more cautious approach and head south along the river until we are in sight of the North Tower.
"When we reach the area of the snow, we should close up ranks quite a bit. From what I have heard, visibility in a blizzard is really bad, so we may want to be right up next to each other - maybe even roping ourselves together to prevent anyone getting lost.
"Of course these are all just suggestions." She winks at Rannos, "You are after all the leader of our little band of ruffians."
OOC - In one round, Matilda can move 20'. At a dead run, she can move 80'. I will leave it to your discretion how far forward she needs to be.
Matilda is a young gnome. She has curly blond hair, blue eyes, and is almost always smiling. She is quite intelligent, but is prone to occasional sillyness.
