Hi Rimm,

Welcome aboard. Have no fears about being new, the best way to learn this game is to play it and almost everybody will admit to being confused the first time they tried to get aquainted with the rules. Plucks and I will be glad to answer any questions you have, also if you know how to use mIRC, there is a chat room for core users there and it is an awefully good place to ask questions as most people there are experienced players and GM's

A couple things to address first though. As far as getting your character approved, a GM with different access must do that. I will mention it to Zork (our favorite Senior GM) and he'll take care of that. But fear not, until he gets around to it, having unapproved status will not stop you from playing (all it means is that certain things are still adjustable..once it's approved things like attributes, feats and skills are locked in).

As to being unfamiliar with ALL the rules. Not to worry, that doesn't become too big of an issue until some sort of combat happens. For now, when not in combat, just role play out what you'd like to do and Plucks or I will interpret that into game mechanics. Once a combat situation arises, well, it is best to define your moves in the terms given in the PHB, that way we can best moderate things the way you invision them. Skim through a couple of the the threads on the board till you come to a section describing combat to see what I mean.

A repoman's got ALL night EVERY night!
