Wort turns to the sailor, speaking as softly as he can, in kind as the mand did to him, "I'm sorry, I think perhaps you may have misunderstood my intent, the poem was meant for the young lady and her choice of roads, as both Mick and I spoke to her in the inn, but it appears rather apparent that she was more interested in one of her own kind. I am flattered by your offer, but must decline."

Turning to Oskar, "As to the racial heritage business.." his voice returns to normal, "My father was an orcish warrior, and he did someting most apparently do not, he married my mother and raised my brother and myself as law abiding citizens of Veluna. When he was injured in a freak plow accident, I took up the role of bread winner by fighting in the arena for the sport of the 'civilized' races since I am nothing more than a savage I'm told. I guess if that is civilized, I'll take savage any day thank you very much.. The Savage Orc I was raised by gave his health, his heritage, and eventually his life for the woman he loved and the family he sired. He raised me to respect the laws of the lands I travel through, of the people to whom I may eventually swear fealty to. I perhaps am not the most intelligent one in the world, this much is true, however, in the arena I was taught letters and the 'civilized' speach. I was taught my letters from the books of poetry and philosopher as my teacher was a court philosophy sold as a slave for angering his lord. Apparently he forsaw something in a divination that didn't appeal to the civilized lord, so was condemned to die as a slave in a blood sport.. Who is the Savage?"

He sighs, "There are evil ocs who prey on the weak yes. But there are far more evil humans out there who kill anything that doesn't appeal to them, even their own kind. Yet they are considered civilized, as we don't call them anything deragotory even when they prove themselves evil.. Yet my people are Tuskers simply for existing. This is my displeasure."

OOC: As to RPing his stats, he's actually fairly bright for his species, though still only average by human standards. I know by the dice, he shouldn't be able to carry off poetry, but thats this particular characters "schtick." as it were, since thanks to the PZ's dice roller, he blows chunks as a fighter even at his level, he has to have something for me to have any desire to actually post with him. The original version of the character had a 14 int, though thats not possible with a 25 pt buy if you want to be a decent fighter, so he lost a little in the translation. If the GM rules I have to play him like a dunce, I will do so.
