Tanner suggests that he and the rangers and Blade head up towards that large tree (K2), and from there move quietly towards the ridge (O1). "If we scout ahead and the others follow behind, we may be able to get quite close to their camp. I don't think we should split up too much until we're as close as we can get to the camp and know where they are. If we split up here, if one group gets attacked, the others may be too far away to help. Once we're closer then we can concentrate on surprise and flanking."

"Once we're within striking range, say 90 to 120 feet, then we can try and surround or confuse them and take them out before they can close in on us with those axes of theirs." Tanner, remembering that Gnoll leader with his axes, shudders. "But if we go our separate ways now, we may just be asking for trouble, especially if one of their guards heard that sound we made back there. So shall we?"

ooc: Scouts ahead followed by others. First to K2, then O1. From there, move towards ridge depending on cover until close enough to fire, then surround and attack.
A tall, gangly human youth looks at you, his questioning green eyes filled with the energy and enthusiasm of youth. Clad in a fine chain shirt with a buckler emblazoned with crossed lute and sword, he wears an Elven rapier at his side and a rustic lute over his shoulder.
