Tyro would never have admited it to the general party for fear of lowering moral, but the whole "close encounter of the snake kind" had left him pretty shaken. He was much calmer now, thankfully, and luckily Tanner had come up with a few good ideas on the fly. At the time he could only nod in agreement, but presently he was feeling pretty proud of the bard.

"General Tanner," he thinks with a broad grin, "Leader of men."

Still waiting behind these guys gave him much to worry about. The Gnoll attack had been too well planned dispite the party's victory he worried of another ambush. He cocked and ear and strained to for any sound that would give away the gnoll position. Nothing.

He gave up and focused on the group of his friends "treading lightly into the dangers before them." He only releases the breath he'd unknowingly held when he finally catches up with the advanced scouting party.

That's when he finally heard something and froze in his tracks. He silently glances at all the faces nearby as he waits to see if any of them can tell which direction the runner is heading. Towards or away from their current position?

Better late then never, I guess. < shrug > I guess that makes Tyro the cavelry.

Good going General Tanner.

< Clicks heals and exagerates a salute > :D

Who'd a thunk it? ;) Well, I would have, for one. I've always known Tanner to be an excellent stratigist. But like most Generals he prefers to hide, er, operate from the command post to the rear of the action. :)
