ooc: In regards to those of us with regular vision not being able to see, isn't the whole point of Tyro's running ahead with a torch so that we can target the gnolls by his torchlight from a distance? After all, even though Tanner can only see 10' in the dark, he should be able to see a lit torch 100' away (unless it's obstructed).

bic: Listening to Tyro's brave (and possibly foolhardy), Tanner nevertheless agrees that it sounds like the best course of action. Hoping that once Tyro charges his torch will illuminate the gnolls enough for him to fire his crossbow and cast spells, Tanner will take as advantageous a position as possible. If he thinks he'll be left in the dark, though, he'll follow ten yards behind Tyro and Turrold and cover them with his crossbow.

And he'll keep the horn handy so that when the gnolls are about to engage, he'll blow it and hopefully confuse or scare them. After all, if they think we have an army of Greenleaf Elves or Gnarly Rangers with us, they may just rethink this whole idea of fighting us...
A tall, gangly human youth looks at you, his questioning green eyes filled with the energy and enthusiasm of youth. Clad in a fine chain shirt with a buckler emblazoned with crossed lute and sword, he wears an Elven rapier at his side and a rustic lute over his shoulder.
