Watching as the last of the gnolls fall, Tanner stops his song and breathes a sigh of relief that the party has survived yet another encounter with these dog creatures. Agreeing with the others that they should proceed on with all haste, Tanner nevertheless feels there are probably useful things among the bodies. In order to be as quick as possible, however, Tanner will only search the Gnoll Leader who fell right in front of him and the Gnoll Mage farther away.

Hearing of the other cave entrance, Tanner wonders whether that's another, less used entrance to the same cave, or whether it's an entrance to entirely different underground area. "Perhaps we should look to see if there are other entrances to the cave, so that we don't have to barge in their front door. Perhaps there are tracks or markings that will give us some hint as to where the other entrance leads and who or what has been using it."

Tanner will carefully collect and examine the items from the gnoll leader and the mage, looking especially to see if there are items that the party might be able to use right away, like potions, maps or keys, as well as MW weapons (gnoll leader) or wands, scrolls or other magic items.
