Glennifar the elven mage mentions, "Well, I wouldn't have mentioned this if we were leaving, but since the party is heading back into these caves I guess that I should mention it now."

He draws a breath.

"The ogre strip me of more then just my clothing. He took all my gear. Including several special items I must have returned to me. While I would gladly offer my common items, such as holy water and such, I think I will need the other items returned. I need them mostly to keep me safe from the dangers of travel. Especially travel with this group."

All wonder if the straight faced elf had just made a joke, but he proceeds without a hint of humor showing.

"Also, there is a small green sphere. It was on a sturdy chain, but it... " the elf shrugs slightly, "It is not useful nor valuable to anyone but myself."

He whispers now while walking closely to the warrior Tyro.

"If for some reason something should happen to me, such as my being defeated during a battle, my cousin will be along shortly after to claim the sphere. I chose Glennesti long ago as my replacement should ever the worst happen and I be defeated while..." pauses but his voice does not waver in the slightest, "on my quest."

Glennifar is an Elf, but you'd hardly know it to look at him. At 5' 9" he is taller than most elves but seems even taller from under a large wizard's hat. His long, flowing, white hair is out matched only by his long flowing green and gray robes. He appears to be, in all respects, a typically wizened mage.
