Listening to Glennifar's description of where the tunnel leads and the obstacles at its end, it begins to sound to Tanner like an even better idea than before. Since between them they have several of the Spider Climb potions left (he never used his), it sounded like it might be the last place from which the gnolls would expect an attack. Since if they had locked up the others in there, they couldn't possibly know about the secret entrance.

Unless they were purposely put in the cell with an escape with the hopes that one among them could lure the party back into their dungeon. They could be walking into their own jail! If they are expecting them, it would surely become a death-trap or a prison.

As Tanner thought about these things, he looked at Glennifar and Xenophon and wondered if they could be trusted, or if the others they left behind could be trusted. And as he looked, he realized that there was no way to know for sure. All he could do was be careful. And watchful.

"Since we have the Potions of Spider Climb, if you say that we can escape the cell that you were in, then it seems like the best means of entering and attacking them by surprise. But are you sure we'll be able to get out of the cell, Glennifar?"
