Turning into the room to see the woman, the blades and the gnolls, Tanner can't help but imagine describing this vivid scene in the story of their adventures. "As the blades descended ever-closer, the heroes acted with blinding speed..."

However, Tanner realizes that the "heroes" have to do something before he can start telling the story of it. Looking at the oblivious gnolls, Tanner sees that their best hope is to silence them and silence them quickly.

Humming a lullaby as his hands trace the arcane symbols, Tanner will cast Sleep on the unsuspecting gnolls, hopefully preventing them from raising any kind of alarm.

ooc: If Kerravin manages to charge towards the gnolls before Tanner can get off his spell, Tanner will instead raise his crossbow and try to silence one of the gnolls the old-fashioned way. Also, sorry for the long delays between posts.
