Watching his spell go off with no effect, Tanner is momentarily confused. Then, as Turrold slides through the images before him and they melt away, Tanner's confusion turns to surprise and then, as arrows and axes begin to fly, he realizes only too late that they were set up. Someone knew they were coming--someone had betrayed them. Though there was no time to think about it now, Tanner silently vows that he will find and kill the traitor. But for now, he has gnolls and worgs to deal with...

Taking a flask of oil, he'll try to light it and throw it grenade-style into the alcove with gnolls 1 and 2, hoping to light the wooden chests on fire and flush them from their cover (if he hits one directly, all the better). If he needs to step forward to do he will, but making sure he stays behind Tyro and Kain and Xenephon, if possible, and staying out of the sight lines of gnoll 3.
A tall, gangly human youth looks at you, his questioning green eyes filled with the energy and enthusiasm of youth. Clad in a fine chain shirt with a buckler emblazoned with crossed lute and sword, he wears an Elven rapier at his side and a rustic lute over his shoulder.
