Rested and recovered from the previous nights adventures, Tanner is almost looking forward to returning to the caves at the top of the hill. After all, the possibilities of encountering (and hopefully defeating) a creature as strange as a Yaun-Ti and discovering whatever objects and items they might have send the excitement of discovery racing through his veins. And the prospect of painful and horrible death at the hands of gnolls, ogres and yuan-Ti never seems as bad in the clear light of day. However, it won't be quite so bright once they enter the caves...

As Tyro suggests a marching order, Tanner is glad to be in the back next to Glennifar, as much because he has less chance of being crushed by an ogre as so that he can keep an eye on the newcomers (including Glennifar). Though he has no reason of his own to distrust them, because of Glennifar's warning Tanner will remain alert as much to the dangers of the gnoll caves as to the people around him.

"I agree that trying to enter through the main cave might be disastrous. And since we have found this secret entrance to something, we should take a look and try it out. After all, no one, not even gnolls, build secret doors that don't go someplace interesting." In response to any suggestions about magically seeing in the dark, Tanner shakes his head. "I have no magics that might help in that way. All I can cast is Light, which will help our enemies more than it would help us, I fear. Perhaps it would be best to have Turrold walk in the front to alert us to what lies ahead."
A tall, gangly human youth looks at you, his questioning green eyes filled with the energy and enthusiasm of youth. Clad in a fine chain shirt with a buckler emblazoned with crossed lute and sword, he wears an Elven rapier at his side and a rustic lute over his shoulder.
