As soon as he casts the spell, Tanner looks and sees his mistake. His fearsome illusion, meant to send the gnolls running, is a black shape against the black sky hundreds of feet away. Trying to remedy that, Tanner will move the image quickly so that it swoops down out of the darkness into the gnolls field of vision. Hopefully, the surprise of it swooping out of the darkness will throw them off for a round or two to allow the others the chance to move up the hill and engage them. Tanner will keep up the illusion until it no longer seems to have any effect on the gnolls. But Tanner will do everything he can to keep the dragon's actions realistic and scary.
A tall, gangly human youth looks at you, his questioning green eyes filled with the energy and enthusiasm of youth. Clad in a fine chain shirt with a buckler emblazoned with crossed lute and sword, he wears an Elven rapier at his side and a rustic lute over his shoulder.
