Realizing that time is of the essence, Tanner quickly goes through the remaining gnolls possessions for any information or valuable items and then prepares to move forward. He'll leave the gnolls tied up, and will gag them if he can so they can't call out and warn the others.

As soon as Warblade tells him what he saw, Tanner knows that any chance of sneaking up on the remaining gnolls is gone. "They know we're coming, so there's no need to hurry. That gnoll will get there long before we can and warn them, so the best thing for us to do is probably advance as cautiously as we can and try to stay out of any ambushes or traps. Unless we could find an unexpected way of getting at them." Turning back to the gnoll prisoners, Tanner wonders if any of them might have information about where they're hiding and if there are any secret or back entrances. Deciding to try the interrogation once again, and this time with some magic to help him, Tanner will try to get some more information out of the gnolls.

Going back to the most senior looking of the gnoll soldiers, Tanner will hum softly to himself as he casts the spell Tongues. Once the spell is cast, he'll try interrogating the prisoners again. And if killing one of the gnolls will make the others speak freer, then Tanner will have no qualms about doing that.

ooc: Sorry, I thought the other gnolls had been searched. Also, Tanner leveled up and got access to a spell that might help the situation, so he's changing his tactic slightly. If that's not OK, then he'll just search them and then move on.
