Warned of the gnoll sentries up ahead, Tanner strains his eyes in the dark to try and and see them. His human eyes unable to pick out anything much further ahead than the person in front of him, he can only rely on the ranger to warn him of danger.

"Kain, I can still speak gnoll flawlessly, at least for a few more minutes. If they haven't seen us, I might be able to distract them by talking in gnoll to them while you and Kerravin sneak up on them. If we get them out from behind their boulders, we'll have a much better chance of getting by unscathed. What do you think?"
A tall, gangly human youth looks at you, his questioning green eyes filled with the energy and enthusiasm of youth. Clad in a fine chain shirt with a buckler emblazoned with crossed lute and sword, he wears an Elven rapier at his side and a rustic lute over his shoulder.
