"That sounds like a great idea, Ryli. Why don't you and Kain take up positions where you'll be able to take shots at them when they come out from behind the boulders. Turrold and Blade, walk in front of us like you're prisoners. stumbing with your hands behind your backs. But keep your weapons hidden and in hand. Then Caellen and I will walk behind you, I will yell to the gnolls that we have won and are bringing prisoners to their leader. The reason I Caellen and I walk behind is to conceal as long as possible that there are no gnoll guards with these prisoners, so keep in front of us. Kerravin can come behind us and strike when ready. Hopefully this will get them out and give us the few moments we need to get close enough to strike cleanly and with surprise. What do you say?"

Assuming everyone is in agreement and plays their parts, Tanner, as he walks the prisoners up the path towards the gnolls, will speak in a loud, gruff voice of a gnoll, using the dialect that the gnoll prisoners spoke to him with. "You guards up there! Come out and help us bring these prisoners to Meachan! We have killed the others with Agorath's magic and bring this scum back on Meachan's orders! Come out and help or face his wrath!"

Using his Bluff Skill (+10) and his Perform Skill (+13) (if appropriate), Tanner hopes that using the actual names of their leaders (as well as speaking in perfect gnoll) will help his cause andd fool the gnolls. As soon as Ryli and Kain start firing, Tanner will follow Turrold and Blade into melee and try to flank one of the gnolls by attacking with his rapier. Assuming, that is, that any of this works....
A tall, gangly human youth looks at you, his questioning green eyes filled with the energy and enthusiasm of youth. Clad in a fine chain shirt with a buckler emblazoned with crossed lute and sword, he wears an Elven rapier at his side and a rustic lute over his shoulder.
