Realizing that at the rate he's going, he may not find any companions left to help, Tanner will break into a run until he can clearly hear and see the campsite. Once there, he'll survey the situation and see if there's any possibility sneaking up on any mages or spellcasters hanging in the back. If not, then he'll do his best to surprise and flank any attackers that he can. However, he's not foolish enough to try and engage any of the attackers on his own, if he can help it.
