Bandit a grizzly older man shakes his head, "I likes me name and I'll keep it if its all the same to you." Dunn rolls his eyes at Tyro indicating that perhaps he had allready had this conversation more than once. The other guards smile or look away to keep Bandit from noticing.

Ulfgar pulls Tyro aside and reminds him that he is riding in the front wagon and that no one is allowed to ride in the wagons other than as 'shotgun'.

As the guards and the teamsters take their spots the caravan begins to roll out. Ulfgar in the front wagon directs the lead teamster out towards the South gate so that they can be on their way.

20 minutes latter the group heads towars the city gates where the guards of the city continue to slow down the traffic coming into the city and question those entering. Those leaving the city can do so freely but a few guards to watch those that leave to ensure no wanted criminals pass by w/o going directly to jail.

As Ryli and kain take the lead (how far? 30 feet?) they spot a human teenager/man about the age of perhaps 16 standing about 100 yards from the city gates. He is holding a sign that reads Ranger looking for work - must feed family

Behind him is a war horse and a guard dog resting under a tree. He seems to be outfited with a well made Composite Longbow, Longsword, Hide armor, and wooden shield not to mention other gear in his saddlebags on the horse.

As you to ride up he nods, "Could'ss you'ss use the help of a trained ranger mam, sir'ss? My father died two yearsss ago and I need the work to feedss my mother, brothers and sistersss and my grandma and pa. I only asssk 1 gold a day and 4 gold if yall sssee trouble." the boy seems to have a bad lisp.

ooc:
Tyro I fixed the marching order a bit. You had some people riding in the wagons and they can't do that. Although Char and Ulfgar might trust the AG more than they do others they won't tempt anyone by placing bags of merchandise at their fingertips.

I also changed the watch order just a bit. Caellen being a cleric shouldn't be on watch while the three elfs only need to meditate for 4 hours then they can continue watch - if they want.

Turrold in his medium armor can't keep up with the wagons so he will have to ride shotgun (where he is now) or run every so often and take some strain which he can rest off in the evening. (During a battle in the middle of the day that might harm him though)

How far do you want each wagon? I was thinking about 10 feet. How far do you want the scouts ahead of us? I figure in the forest it might be closer while in the plains it might be further but that is up to you and the scouts.
