The young man scowls, "Talon sir, but I'm a man. If I'm doing the work of a man I don't see why I'd be a lad - no offense sir. And as for my pay I'm only asking for 4 gold if'n we get attacked that day. If we don't see trouble then 1 gold a day is fine sir." he repeats in common trying to get Tyro to hire him. "I have my own war horse Trotter and Chow is a good watch dog. He can smell orcs 500 yards away."

I'm guessing that blade will detect evil sooner or latter - he doesn't get any feeling of evil on the first round or the second or the third.

I looked over the rules and I couldn't find one that says Dwarves have to ride pony's. Dwarves are medium size just like Humans. I figure he probably has to shorten his stirups and then he is fine. I know traditionally they are supposed to ride pony's but I couldn't find a single rule saying so.

If someone can show me a rule in the rulebooks then we can change the dwarven vs horse rule. Until then Turrold can ride the horse w/ the same penalties as a human. :)
