Glennifar listens in when the warrior, Tyro, moves to speak to the other elves, the two rangers, about the need for extra guards this first evening out from Grayhawk. At first it seemed as if he were going to continue to order them about, which was beginning to bother the elven mage greatly, especially since the pair of them obviously knew better than he could about their talents, but the mage finds himself surprised once more by this -- human.

He seemed to know much about the elves, for they seemed to have share much about themselves and their superior traits of vision and hearing. And then, instead of coveting these traits and rejecting their obvious superiorty as many human's would, he praises them for it, and asked them how they can best use their own skills to better protect the whole group.

The whole idea that a human might treat an elf well and give them their due respect was quite foriegn to Glennifar. He would have to learn more about this Tyro. To that end he approaches the elf maid, the ranger the others call Ryli.

"Pardon my intrusion, Ranger Sohquil, but I feel as if I need to speak with you. It's about," he lowers his voice so that only someone with elven hearing could hear him, "our leader."

He frowns.

"In short, I wish to know why you and Ranger Darkwood find him a suitable person to give elves orders? Pardon me if I appear -- brusk -- but my experience with human's is quite limited. But I now desire to expand that view. What can you tell me about him? How did you first meet? How has he treated you and Kain since your induction into his guild and this party?"

I figure Glennifar is going to have to start interacting with the human's and dwarves eventually, why not start by finding out why his follow elves like the company their keeping. :)

Glennifar is an Elf, but you'd hardly know it to look at him. At 5' 9" he is taller than most elves but seems even taller from under a large wizard's hat. His long, flowing, white hair is out matched only by his long flowing green and gray robes. He appears to be, in all respects, a typically wizened mage.
