OK, even though our Arcane Spellcaster has generously said that he will be unable to comply, I still think it would be best to have one. However, I also think it would be nice to have one above 1st level or equivalent in power thereto. IE, If Raistlin wants to, make your mage a Tiefling with 20 INT so he can get 2 extra 1st-level spells. Or an aasimar sorceror, that'd be tight as well.

I can also NPC a arcane type, but I like to have my PCs capable in a wide variety of skills so they don't have to rely on some uber-NPC to come and save their butts every time.

Or die.

As for the dwarf, I posted a reply in Flameflower itself. If you are fine with what looks to be a neutral-aligned party (and seeing that you're a druid, I don't know why that would be a problem) then you will probably be able to fit in. Keep in mind that you will be, comparatively, probably the weakest character in the party. Hey, someone's gotta do it.:D

Bane, your character looks pretty good, except for the history...

An idea: due to the heavenly space around Lord Kashafren's palace, that could definitely be an attractant to your character...I also noticed that he still has another 1st-level spell he can prepare.
